Nature, Landscape, Heritage

The Nature Park at Ramat Hanadiv surrounds the Memorial Gardens in which Baron Benjamin Edmond de Rothschild and his wife are buried. The park is managed in a way that integrates conservation of natural, landscape and heritage values with activities for the general public, research and education.
The Nature Park invites those walking its trails to discover diverse living environments. Most of it is covered by shrubby landscapes combined with Mediterranean woodland and planted cypress and pine groves. The range of landscapes and habitats supports diverse plant and animal species. Scientific research and ongoing monitoring provide a basis for decision making concerning the park’s management.
