Welcome to Ramat Hanadiv Nature Park

Dear Visitor,

We have recently reevaluated our schedule of visiting hours for the park.

You are cordially invited to enjoy the park during daylight hours. After dark, the park will be closed for the benefit of the wildlife living here.

In the last decade, we have been monitoring a significant drop in the population of gazelles in the park. Careful research revealed that the presence of visitors in the park has a dramatic impact on the wildlife.

In general, the animals were found to be limiting their activity during peak visitor hours and becoming more active only later, when the park is empty of visitors.

This shift resulted in more activity by gazelles, for example, at later hours, when the jackals are also normally active. The result was increased numbers of gazelles falling prey to jackals.

To mitigate this kind of impact, we decided to enforce the regulations that allow entry of visitors to the park only during daylight, while the hours after dark are reserved for the wildlife.

Entry of visitors after dark will no longer be permitted.

For emergencies and for maintenance services, entry to the park will be through the main gates only and with the approval of the park management.
