Bird ringing sessions take place on the first Saturday of each month near Ein Tzur. Ringing commences at the early hours of the morning when the nets are set up with The Jerusalem Bird Observatory staff.
Information regarding the birds caught in the nets is provided to visitors from 07:00 to 10:00.
The birds are caught and marked with identifying rings to enable tracking. Bird ringing is practiced in many countries,
and the information obtained is exchanged between ornithologists and birdwatchers throughout the world.
