Volunteers for ancient trees growing at Ramat Hanadiv Park

Ramat Hanadiv is blessed with a wonderful team of volunteers that has taken on the job of mapping and monitoring unique, ancient trees around the park. Each Sunday the team of volunteers goes out to the nature park to map and monitor the trees using an innovative application that was installed on their ipads and cellphones. In the application, the volunteers record information about each mapped ancient tree, including its scientific name, height, canopy diameter and state of health. When the mapping ends the park’s employees will be able to use the mapped information to facilitate treatment and rehabilitation of sick trees.
