Ramat Hanadiv Hosts the Carmel Quartet

A Special Concert Series for Classical Music Lovers, Young and Old
Children's Concert: Musical Sleuths, with the Carmel Quartet
What's that about?
Join us for an adventure of sound and mellifluence in the land of musical dwarfs, and start thinking like composers. How does one compose sounds? Featuring mini-works by Webern and short pieces by Schubert and Haydn.
This is an interactive concert by the Carmel Quartet, conducted by the group's violinist Yona Tzur, for children aged 6-10.
Thursday, 12.1.17, 5.30 p.m.
Tickets: NIS 10
Concert for Adults: 'Beyond the Rainbow' (the second concert in the 'Shortcuts' series)
A journey to the land of musical dwarfs and the reasons for their very short existence. Why didn't Haydn and Schubert complete their creations? What was the reason for the particular connection between the Romantic composer and desolation, and how did Webern manage to express so much with so little?
Thursday, 12.1.17, 8 p.m.
In the Visitors Pavilion Auditorium, Ramat Hanadiv
Tickets: NIS 105
Tickets can be purchased by phone at: 04-629 1837, or 058-5853353, or on the website: www.carmelquartet.com
