A New Book Published by Ramat Hanadiv – A Day in the Gardens

This charming book was published recently by Ramat Hanadiv. "A Day in the Gardens" gives readers a glimpse into the activity that takes place in the garden over the course of one day, from dawn to dusk –
From the work of the gardeners and volunteers , thanks to whom the garden is prepared and ready for visitors at any given moment, through the spectacular beauty of the landscape, the animals and the many visitors who are attracted to the garden.
The illustrations are accompanied by anecdotes, which lightly touch upon other areas of operation related to the garden.
The gardens are always in bloom, clean, neat and peaceful – the book describes the activity, the work, the sites and the secrets from "behind the scenes".
The creator of the book, Meital Amir, is a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design visual communications department. She was born on Kibbutz Gan Shmuel and spent many childhood weekends in the Ramat Hanadiv gardens…
From the preface:
"A visit to Ramat Hanadiv always enchanted me. A nature park with gardens at its center, located south of the Carmel, near the town of Zichron Ya'akov, with its hidden paths, fresh smells, broad lawns, twisted tree trunks, the end of a fleeing lizard's tail, the chirping of a mysterious bird.
Each visit is a new experience.
It is a place with its own time and its own melody.
When walking in the gardens, one discovers the gentle power of the colors, the happenings and the sounds. This experience requires few words… only open eyes and alert ears.
This book is a tiny taste of a day in the gardens."
On your next visit – come take a peek…
The book awaits you in the Ramat Hanadiv shop.
