Nature 'Round the Clock at Ramat Hanadiv
On Shushan Purim
Friday, 6 March 2015, from 9 a.m. -2 p.m.
Come be a Detective-for-a-Day in the Service of Nature!
Outfit yourselves with binoculars and a magnifying glass, with sharpened senses and a mobile phone in order to research, reveal and review the flora and fauna in the Nature Park.
During the day, there will be a host of activities to enjoy: guided tours, activity stations, and nature films and lectures.
You'll be able to follow the flight of songbirds, investigate underwater life, observe masses of wildflowers in the park, and savour hot pita bread straight from the tabun (traditional outdoor oven).
You'll receive a map for a self-guided tour, and all along the way you can stop at stations where you'll find special experiences awaiting, like visiting the Footprint Garden, the Solar Tree, and the experimental 'Divushema', or watching butterflies close-up or playing a fast game of Botanic Bingo.
With the help of our dedicated app, you'll be able to upload all your field reports from your mobile phone directly to the web -- contributing to the Nature Park's flora and fauna data base while having a great Purim day out at Ramat Hanadiv.
No prior knowledge is necessary, and there is no charge for taking part in the activities.
