    Website accessibility:

Ramat Hanadiv invests effort and resources to make the organization’s website accessible so that disabled people will also be able to enjoy it.

    Restrictions to accessibility:

As a general rule, all of the website’s pages were built to meet level AA conformance to web content accessibility. Nevertheless, despite our efforts to make all of the website’s pages accessible, it is possible that some parts of the site are still inaccessible. We note that a number of pages contain external components that are beyond our control and inaccessible. Therefore, the following pages do not meet the accessibility standard:

Findings of the Conceptual Development Stage

Findings of the Conceptual Development Stage
The findings of the entire process were analyzed and categorized by different characteristics. From this, a number of possible concepts for the site’s development were derived.
It was apparent that a tension exists between the two fundamentally opposing alternatives:
- The potential tension between decisions made in favor of development for the benefit of the people as opposed to those made in favor of development (or preservation) for the benefit of nature.
- The potential tension between decisions made in favor of the development of tourism as opposed to those in favor of community development.
A number of criteria were selected to fully examine the alternatives:
• The degree of feasibility of the selected direction (to what extent does the idea enable diversity and inclusion of different ideas).
• The extent of its service to the community (with an understanding that the quarry is part of the settlement, and as such it must optimally serve its residents).
• The degree of activity at the site (to what extent will the site be used if this option is selected).
• The degree of its compatibility with sustainability values (based on a desire for a balance between environment, society, and economy).
Concepts that arose from the ideas that were discussed throughout the process (after the elimination of the ideas that did not meet the regulations of the proposed Zoning Ordinance):
• Recreation and Extreme Sport Park
• Environmental Education Center
• Nature Reserve
• Man and Nature Park
• Entertainment Venue for large audiences
• Environmental Art Center
• Quarry Heritage Center
These concepts were examined based on the same criteria used to evaluate the alternatives.
These findings were presented before the steering committee, attended by representatives of the municipality of Binyamina-Givat Ada Ramat Hanadiv, KKL and the Drainage Authority; and a conceptual direction for the park was formulated:
The park will serve the community for purposes of enjoyment, interest, and inspiration, while raising awareness regarding the relationship between man and the environment, heritage, and future.
The site will serve as a link between values related to nature, landscape, and heritage in the surrounding area, incorporate community activity and offer a meeting place to a variety of people and cultures.
