With the opening of the Memorial Gardens to the public in 1954, many photographs were taken of the various sites and attractions. The black-and-white photographs provide a glimpse of the Gardens at their beginning. In 2001, the sites were revisited and photographed anew. Presentation of the two sets of photographs side-by-side offers an exciting comparison of the Gardens then and now.
