    Accessibility statement

We want everyone who visits the Ramat Hanadiv website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

    What are we doing?

To help us make the Ramat Hanadiv website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Ramat Hanadiv website.

    How are we doing?

We've worked hard on the Ramat Hanadiv website and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.

This accessibility statement was generated on 7th August 2014 using the Accessibility Statement Generator.

The Giving Tree

A true surprise now awaits visitors to Ramat Hanadiv's Footprint Garden:  The eTree, which will be happy to quench your thirst with cold water on the hottest of summer days!
The eTree, made of metal pipes, reaches the grand height of 3.5 meters and is topped by a canopy of solar panels that produce energy from the sun 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Not only does this giving tree provide shade for visitors; with every passing breeze, it cools more drinking water for them.
The eTree is a socio-environmental initiative meant to further visitors' awareness of sustainability and to help link the community with the environment. Its manufacturer, the Sologic Co. is an Israeli renewable energy startup dealing with products that make solar energy accessible to consumers.
On 23 October 2014, the grandchildren of Ramat Hanadiv's environmentalists gathered to celebrate the 'planting' of the new solar tree -- the very first of its kind in Israel!
