Open Landscape Management

The Nature Park is the main part of Ramat Hanadiv, covering an area of about 4,500 dunams (450 ha) of natural Mediterranean vegetation combined with pine and cypress groves that were planted in the 1970s and 1980s by Keren Kayemet LeIsrael – Jewish National Fund. The Nature Park is managed with the aim of conserving the diverse natural vegetation and the physical and cultural characteristics of the region, as well as rehabilitating damaged or destroyed vegetation, animals, natural landscapes and other lands. The rehabilitated habitat is open for researchers and students and for the enjoyment of the public.
