    Accessibility statement

We want everyone who visits the Ramat Hanadiv website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

    What are we doing?

To help us make the Ramat Hanadiv website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Ramat Hanadiv website.

    How are we doing?

We've worked hard on the Ramat Hanadiv website and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.

This accessibility statement was generated on 7th August 2014 using the Accessibility Statement Generator.

What is Happening to the Oaks in the Nature Park?

In recent years, a clear trend of desiccation of Palestine oak trees has been observed at Ramat Hanadiv. Is it possible to recover the dry trees? How can it be that one tree is green and flourishing while its neighbor is in an advanced state of desiccation?

These and other questions have occupied the researchers at Ramat Hanadiv for quite some time. Several years ago, they began conducting long-term monitoring with the aim of answering these questions and determining whether human intervention on this issue is appropriate.

Recently we uploaded a unique web interface that displays in detail the story of the oaks at Ramat Hanadiv, in plain language accompanied by photographs from the field. The interface provides a unique opportunity to make close acquaintance with the stages of the research process.

You are welcome to enter the link and follow this fascinating process.
