    Accessibility statement

We want everyone who visits the Ramat Hanadiv website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

    What are we doing?

To help us make the Ramat Hanadiv website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Ramat Hanadiv website.

    How are we doing?

We've worked hard on the Ramat Hanadiv website and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.

This accessibility statement was generated on 7th August 2014 using the Accessibility Statement Generator.

Sustainability at Ramat Hanadiv

Ramat Hanadiv has operated until now with a strong emphasis on sustainability, however there are plans for additional significant progress in everything related to sustainability in the organization.
For the first time it has been decided that the organization will put a lateral emphasis on sustainability, so that sustainable activity will be strengthened in all the different departments at Ramat Hanadiv. All the employees at Ramat Hanadiv completed a course in sustainability conducted by TNS – The Natural Step.
The aim of the course was to create a common denominator among the employees with regards to their knowledge about sustainability. The course provided information about what is being done in Israel and around the world and in different organizations, in the field of sustainability. A further aim of the course, for a reduced number of staff members, was to develop the organization’s declaration on sustainability. Another aim was to define super-objectives from which each department will determine its targets for the following year, with the intention that some of the targets in each department will be dedicated to sustainability.
Currently, Ramat Hanadiv is mapping all sustainable activity that already takes place within the organization in the following fields: existence of an in-house compost site, separation of paper waste, irrigation of the garden with slightly brackish artesian water rather than spring water, etc. In addition to these sustainable activities we are examining what action can be done immediately that have not been done to date, wherein the focus is on those actions from which the ‘fruit may be picked’ already tomorrow. In order to promote this issue, we put together a team comprising representatives from the different departments. The representatives decide together which ‘fruit’ they are interested in ‘picking’ and put the ideas into practice. One of the first things to be initiated is promotion of sustainable activity within the organization and thus – in the offices and the farm area one can already see separation of bottles, separation of organic waste in the kitchen for the purpose of creating compost, two-sided printing on paper in order to save this resource, and printing on recycled paper. These are just the first steps in the practical implementation of sustainable activity at Ramat Hanadiv. We intend to develop and broaden the sustainable activity in the belief that there is no other way.
