    Accessibility statement

We want everyone who visits the Ramat Hanadiv website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

    What are we doing?

To help us make the Ramat Hanadiv website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Ramat Hanadiv website.

    How are we doing?

We've worked hard on the Ramat Hanadiv website and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.

This accessibility statement was generated on 7th August 2014 using the Accessibility Statement Generator.

Planning Workshop

On Wednesday 2/10/13, Ramat Hanadiv hosted a Planning Workshop to develop the central concept for the rehabilitation of the Binyamina Quarry.
This concept was approved by the Steering Committee as a guideline for the formulation of a detailed plan. Members of the Committee include representatives from Ramat Hanadiv, Binyamina, KKL, and The Carmel Drainage Authority, among other organizations.
Tamar Arbel Elisha, Head of the Community Department at Ramat Hanadiv, opened the workshop with a presentation on the development process and the refinement of the central concept based on the wishes of the participants  from the whole process. The presentation opened an interesting debate among the participants regarding the nature of and the various possible ways in which to actualize the Rehabilitation.
During the second half of the evening, Technion   graduates  moderated discussion groups. The participants raised issues relating to the operation and realization of the central concept and even discussed the relationship between the various factors including: the placement of the entrance to the park and what should be positioned near to the entrance. Which functions should be adjacent to each other and which are better specifically at a distance from one another, and so on. Toward the end of the event, the participants presented the main points of the plenum.
Tally Tuch, the planner  from the Quarry Rehabilitation Fund moderated the professional part of the evening. She noted that ideas were raised at the workshop that had not yet been discussed until this point in the process and that these new concepts would contribute to the formulation of the detailed plan.
