New Edition of Old Favourite: Butterflies at Ramat Hanadiv

Nature lovers will be delighted by the newly-published, bilingual edition of the book Butterflies at Ramat Hanadiv. Containing a first-time English translation as well as the original Hebrew text, the new version, in an elegant binding, was designed with the lovely illustrations of Tuvia Kurtz.

The book provides nature lovers with an opportunity to learn about the fascinating lifestyle of butterflies. Its vibrant illustrations and detailed texts join together to present a harmonious picture of these butterflies.

The book contains a great deal of information about butterfly species, their senses, life cycle and how they adapt to their surroundings. The beautiful illustrations allow readers to become acquainted with and identify the different butterflies, the nectar plants that they feed from and the host plants that sustain them and their caterpillars.

The texts introduce readers to subjects such as nature’s camouflage and warning colors; masquerade and deceptive patterns; butterfly-ant symbiosis and the wondrous migration of butterflies.

This book reveals a bit of the magic that is butterflies and inspires readers to go outside and follow their delightful flight.
