    Accessibility statement

We want everyone who visits the Ramat Hanadiv website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

    What are we doing?

To help us make the Ramat Hanadiv website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Ramat Hanadiv website.

    How are we doing?

We've worked hard on the Ramat Hanadiv website and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.

This accessibility statement was generated on 7th August 2014 using the Accessibility Statement Generator.

The choice of trees is to be done according to the following criteria:

c.    uniqueness of shape
d.    uniqueness of location
e.    historical, cultural importance and symbolism

Data Collection Form for Mapping of Ancient Trees

Ancient Tree Data Map (To open the map and see the data in a separate window, click here)

This map displays trees that have been mapped by members of the community during and after their training.  The map is then professionally checked for accuracy every few days by the director of the initiative.
If you notice errors, please contact Eyal Tepperberg (his email is listed below).

How to use this map
You can move around the map by moving the mouse around while pressing constantly on the cursor button.  You can also  zoom in or zoom out.  If you click on a green dot you will get the details about that particular tree:  its name, age, measurements, degree of rarity or uniqueness, its history, a photo and more.
