    Accessibility statement

We want everyone who visits the Ramat Hanadiv website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

    What are we doing?

To help us make the Ramat Hanadiv website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Ramat Hanadiv website.

    How are we doing?

We've worked hard on the Ramat Hanadiv website and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.

This accessibility statement was generated on 7th August 2014 using the Accessibility Statement Generator.

Getting to Know Garden Plants

Calling all gardeners, landscape architects, and everyone who love gardens, flowers and plants! Here's your chance to dive into the wonderful, wide-ranging world of ornamental plants in Israel:  An attractive new programme at Ramat Hanadiv, offered in conjunction with the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens.  This illuminating course will introduce you to the major plant families and how to identify them, and will teach you how to use the right plant in the right place — i.e., in the conditions that suit it best.

Among the subjects that will be covered: Gardening sustainably; house plants and orchids; herbs and vegetables in the [home?] garden; annual and perennials; succulents; and more. Studies will begin in December, meeting every Monday from 3-6 p.m.  The entire programme will be comprised of 12 lectures and three field trips.

For more details and registration, contact Odelia Arushas, coordinator of courses, tel. (02)-679 4012, or 052-447240. E-mail: programs@botanic.co.il
