    Accessibility statement

We want everyone who visits the Ramat Hanadiv website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

    What are we doing?

To help us make the Ramat Hanadiv website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Ramat Hanadiv website.

    How are we doing?

We've worked hard on the Ramat Hanadiv website and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.

This accessibility statement was generated on 7th August 2014 using the Accessibility Statement Generator.

Education for the community and environment

Last month, think tanks convened in various schools throughout the “Regional Sustainability Partnership” to develop proposals for educational projects that promote regional sustainable management. The proposals cover a range of issues from open landscape conservation to establishing platforms for advancing the local economy. These proposals will be submitted to the education and community department’s joint call for proposals to obtain support and assistance for facilitating their execution.
The education system has an important role in shaping policy, changing behavioral standards and fostering civil responsibility for environmental conservation. The call for environmental education projects creates an opportunity for students and teaching staff to gain a deeper understanding of their nearby physical and human social environment and to be partners in a regional project for a better present and future.
Additional educational institutions from Zihkron Ya’akov, Binyamina-Givat Ada, Alona Regional Council, Jasr A-Zarka, Ma’ayan Zvi, Beit Hanania, and Ma’agan Michael have also been invited to fulfil a dream with their own project – think globally, act locally.
The deadline for submitting project proposals is 16/1/16.
